Is there a point to focusing on productivity? Am I working against myself and actually creating more work to be done? Maybe I want more work, but the right kind of work.
I’ve been questioning my motivations, ambitions, and desires lately in an effort to find sustainable sources of excitement for my life. Every once in a while I need to check what I am doing. Am I actually pursuing something or have I been distracted, not realizing that I am stuck?

Do you ever find yourself lacking motivation? When you are by yourself, a small setback can kill your motivation. When you are part of a movement, the momentum of the group helps move past these setbacks, keeping you going.
It all began with a simple box with lights and switches, called the Altair 8800. The inventor of the box had no idea what to do with it. But there was a group of kids who were interested in this box and began tinkering with it. After much experimenting, they soon began to discover uses for the box.

The hottest time during a party is after everyone gets there and before everyone leaves. If you go where the excitement is, you will remain in heart of the action.
I happened to watch Microsoft’s Vista commercial (the Mojave Experiment) and it made me realize how much of a rut Microsoft is in right now. Vista has such a bad rep that Microsoft has to trick people into using it and they think that’s actually a good marketing ploy. (I actually think they already realized this and are going in a different direction with their new commercial with Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates).
